New Business Tax Workshop

The New Business Workshop presented by NM Taxation & Revenue is a comprehensive look at the Combined Reporting System (CRS) for Gross Receipts, Withholding and Compensating Tax programs. We will discuss Non-Taxable Transaction Certificates, Estimated income tax payments for business owners, deductions and exemptions from Gross Receipts, special tax programs and audits. We also present e-file training. In addition to the state CRS we have a volunteer CPA discuss federal tax issues (i.e. reporting forms, Self-Employment Tax and Estimated Tax) and good business practices (i.e. good record-keeping).

Spanish CRS Tax Workshop- Taller en Espanol para Negociantes Nuevos - Albuquerque

Taller en Espanol para Negociantes Nuevos - Albuquerque El Taller de Nuevos Negocios presentado por NM Taxation & Revenue es una mirada comprensiva del Sistema de Informes Combinados (Combined Reporting System CRS) de los ingresos brutos, Impuestos de Retención y los impuestos de compensación. Vamos a discutir los certificados Non-Taxable Transaction Certificates (NTTC), el pago de impuestos estimados para los dueños de negocios, las deducciones y exenciones de los ingresos brutos, los programas especiales de impuestos y auditorías. También el acto de tramitarlos electrónicamente. Basic Bookkeeping

Maintaining a set of accurate financial records is vital to successfully operating a business. Simply having a checking account is not enough. The objective of this workshop is to introduce the participants to the fundamental concepts of bookkeeping by providing clarification and understanding of how financial transactions are recorded and summarized in a set of financial statements. It covers the basics: chart of accounts, recording transactions, and summarizing information in a set of financial statements. Introduction to QuickBooks Pro for Small Businesses-(Two-Day Workshop)

Take this hands-on two-day workshop, (Tues. and Wed. Dec. 9 & 10, 2014) to understand how an accounting software package can save you vital time and effort in organizing your business finances. Participants will learn how to set up a chart of accounts, pay bills, invoice customers, reconcile bank accounts, and review the many financial reports available. Accurate bookkeeping is essential to producing timely financial statements that reflect your company's financial strengths, thus facilitating the success of your business. A basic understanding of computers, as well as the SBDC's Basic Bookkeeping workshop is a prerequisite to this very exciting course.
