'Delivering Great Customer Service' with Pam Atherton

This is our final workshop in the ‘2014 Chamber Series Workshops’. Members of the Clovis/Curry Chamber of Commerce are invited to participate at no-cost…a Membership Benefit. $30 for non-members. Please RSVP to save a seat by Monday, September 22nd. Understanding your customer and offering service THEIR way! We all know that the customer is king. In our increasingly competitive business environment, it’s more important than ever to be aware of our customer's needs and desires, and provide customer service that is geared toward them. The marketplace is more diverse than ever, and we’ll discuss that not all customers are the same and that needs may differ with age, gender and cultural values. We’ll cover some of those differences, as well as how to deal with the “difficult” customer. We’ll also discuss the importance of creating a company culture of good customer service that is embodied by management. Terrific customer service is about truly understanding the customer experience from a personal point of view. KEY POINTS: • Understanding the differing values in generations, age, and culture • Strategies for dealing with unhappy customers • Learning how to identify what a customer wants, not just what he/she may ask for • Specific strategies and tactics for delivering good customer service, as well as Dos and Don’ts
