Purple Adobe Lavender Farm

Soak up peace & serenity & reawaken your mind, body and soul to Lavenders healing qualities.

Congratulations Elizabeth Inman!
Owner of Purple Adobe Lavender Farm
Abiquiu, NM

Agri-Tourism/Eco-Agriculture/Manufacturing/Retail/Exporting

“Purple Adobe Lavender Farm of Abiquiu New Mexico whispers a quiet hello as the aroma of lavender renews your senses. For a moment in time you are in harmony with the land as the vibrant color gives birth to each season. The giant cotton wood trees stand with pride, while the lavender fields carve out their legacy. The roots are secure and sustainable, submerged with an infinite peace.” --- Julianna Barbee, SBDC Director.

Purple Adobe Lavender Farm is located in the beautiful Chama River Valley of Abiquiu, New Mexico. They are dedicated to growing organically, supports sustainable communities, use fair trade practices and cares about the environment. “Soak up peace & serenity & reawaken your mind, body and soul to Lavenders healing qualities” says owner Elizabeth Inman.

Enjoy a trip to lavender country for farm tours, demonstrations and crafts. Stroll through the lavender fields, take part in specialty classes, you can also buy from the green house or experience a taste of lavender! Watch the lavender distillation that produces a sweet grade of lavender essential oil. Learn from the behind the scenes tour. Visit the Lavender Apothecary Shoppe and “heal the skin you’re in” here you can buy a full line of natural lavender bath and body products, fresh cut lavender bundles and dried bundles, seasonal fresh and dried fruit, lavender bites and a lavender beverage. Product lines can be found in stores in New Mexico, Colorado and California.

Before she began she visited France to learn how to grow lavender. “I went to France blind, on a chance, in total trust I would find what I was looking for.” Says Elizabeth. “After all I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I wanted a lavender farm and they were the teacher.”

“It has been so helpful knowing that Juliana Barbee and Ida Carrillo have been there when ever I needed their help.” Says Elizabeth. “It has been a great journey with the SBDC. They are very much a part of our success and we look forward to continued work with them and the SBDC.”

“My products are something I can feel proud of, they have my heart and soul in them and I offer the very best ingredients I can find, I use organic ingredients whenever possible.” says Elizabeth. “Creating products that are naturally good for the skin and do what they say they will do is about as good as it gets. I love the creative part of the process, and feeling confident that what my lavender products offer is as close to nature as you can get.”
