New Business CRS Tax Webcast

The Santa Fe SBDC will host a live webcast presented by the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department. The New Business Tax Workshop webcast will take a comprehensive look at the Combined Reporting System(CRS) for Gross Receipts, Withholding and Compensating Tax programs. Discussion includes Non-Taxable Transaction Certificates, Estimated income tax payments for business owners, deductions and exemptions from Gross Receipts, special tax programs and audits. E-filing training is also presented.

    Trademark Basics

    Learn how trademarks, copyrights, patents, domain names, and business name registrations all differ and how they serve different purposes. Presented by Craig Morris, Managing Attorney for Trademark Outreach at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, in Alexandria, Virginia.

  • Critical factors to select a trademark that will be both federally registrable and legally protectable.
  • The importance of doing a complete search and whether an attorney should be used.

    The Internal Revenue Service, in partnership with the New Mexico Small Business Development Centers, and the NM Society of Enrolled Agents is bringing the latest in tax information to you. Topics include: I am a LLC" Now What?, The IRS Appeals Office, Reporting Foreign Assets and Offshore Accounts, Reporting Undisclosed Foreign Financial Assets, ITINs and Filing a Tax Return, and Tax-Related Identity Theft. 7 CPE hours offered.
