Ida Carrillo is the Assistant Director of America's Small Business Development Center New Mexico (SBDC) at Northern New Mexico College (NNMC). For two decades, she has pursued her passion of assisting business owners achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
As a Certified Business Analyst, Ida has over 20 years combined experience in the small business community and banking. In addition to assisting the NNMC-SBDC Director with managing the center, Ida has provided one-on-one assistance to over a thousand clients with budgeting, financial analysis, loan proposals, business planning and development, market research, and bookkeeping. Ida also designs, presents, and facilitates training workshops on various business topics as she finds “it rewarding when an entrepreneur achieves success because of the skills they gained and the decisions made.”
Ida’s certifications, achievements, and participation include:
SBDC Assistant Director/Certified Business Analyst, Certified National Franklin Covey Facilitator, Certified NxLevel Instructor, Quality Management Certified. Her degree is in Business Administration. Ida has also won awards for her work such as America’s Small Business Development Center (ASBDC) National award, 2009 New Mexico SBDC State Star and the NMSBDC 2005 Estrella Award among others.
