    Creating Your Own Business Plan

This seminar is designed to introduce the participants to the basics of planning a successful business by creating a Business Plan. A Business Plan defines the business, identifies goals, and serves as a firm's resume. The basic components include a current and pro forma balance sheet, an income statement, and a cash flow analysis. It helps allocate resources properly, handle unforeseen complications, and make good business decisions. Because it provides specific and organized information about the company and how you will repay borrowed money, a good business plan is a crucial part of any loan application.

We’ll talk about event marketing and joint-venturing, which social media venues to consider using, and how to leverage non-traditional marketing". Pam Atherton is the presenter.

This is the final ‘Chamber Series Workshops 2013’ event! Members of the Clovis/Curry County Chamber are invited to participate at no-cost…a great Membership Benefit! Please register by Monday, Oct. 21. $30 for non-chamber members. "We all know that the customer is king. In our increasingly competitive business environment, it’s more important than ever to cater to customers’ needs, desires and provide customer service that goes way beyond basic politeness and courtesy. The best and smartest companies are finding that listening to what customers want and delivering on every promise, no matter how small, keeps customers happy and coming back for more. And terrific customer service doesn’t have to break the bank: it’s not about spending more to keep customers happy, it’s about truly understanding the customer experience from a personal point of view. Additionally, in today’s diverse marketplace, recognizing that not all customers are the same and that needs may differ with age, gender and cultural values is key. We’ll discuss some of those differences, as well as how to listen, and respond, to customers online". Pam Atherton is the presenter.
