    Networking Workshop
    Who Knows You?

Familiar with the old networking adage: "It's not WHAT you know- It's WHO you know?"

You know it makes sense-that's why you have a pr budget- or at least know you should have a budget and will have one someday...but the economy is not what it was, times are lean, smart businesses are refocusing; paradigms are shifting; the dollar doesn't go as far... Then let's rethink that adage...shift the focus to: It's not what you know...it's WHO KNOWS YOU!!

Join us as we help you to:

  • Refocus on today's definition of networking- what it is and how it works.
  • Set realistic goals -what is it that you want to accomplish?
  • Plan a strategy - who needs to know you and how can they meet you?
  • Take action - organize and show up!
  • Toot your own horn - tips on being your own pr agent
  • Follow up - building relationships and maintaining your network

    Creating Your Own Business Plan
This seminar is designed to introduce the participants to the basics of planning a successful business by creating a Business Plan. A Business Plan defines the business, identifies goals, and serves as a firm's resume. The basic components include a current and pro forma balance sheet, an income statement, and a cash flow analysis. It helps allocate resources properly, handle unforeseen complications, and make good business decisions. Because it provides specific and organized information about the company and how you will repay borrowed money, a good business plan is a crucial part of any loan application.

Building a Team for Your Business’ Success
Owning a small business is like owning a sports team. The size of each is comparable; each contains members with specific roles that may overlap for coverage; and each is competitive. Unfortunately, teamwork isn’t natural and you can’t force it. Yet, individual employees functioning as a focused synergistic team can make all the difference in the competitive marketplace. “In It Together” provides useful information, exercises, and discussions that enable you to build a team for your business’ success.
