Beginning QuickBooks
This is a seven hour course in two sessions of three and a half hours. There are two objectives: First, to teach participants how to create invoices and receive payments, enter and pay bills, and reconcile a check register with a bank statement. Second: Practice and use QuickBooks functions including “Items” and “Memorized Transactions”, and create enough confidence in participant’s use of the program they will be able to explore and use unfamiliar functions. Essential to the second objective is an understanding of “double entry” bookkeeping techniques. Two hours of the course are directed to basic bookkeeping.
